A New Chapter
Cranleigh Heritage Trust has drawn together detailed plans to conserve the cottage and bring it back into meaningful use. Thanks to a grant of over £780,000 from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, essential repairs and thoughtful modernisation are already underway.
Once restored, the cottage will reopen as a vibrant community space promoting health, wellbeing and lifelong learning. Heritage displays, and the MyCranleigh digital archive, will capture the rich history of the cottage and the village.
